Umasari, a hidden gem in the magical rice terraces, offered a serene escape from the hustle and bustle. The staff were delightful and the surroundings were breathtaking. I learned to make daily offerings - a useful skill for my return to high society.

Oh, and the ironing service. well, let's just say it was an interesting experience.

The rooms at Umasari Rice Terrace Villa are amazing! They have a semi-open en-suite bathroom with a full shower, which gives you a unique experience. The large terrace with furniture is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the view. It really feels like staying in a traditional Balinese house, which I absolutely loved. The room is also quite spacious at 42sqm, providing plenty of space to move around. The bathroom is also impressive with a shower and a bathtub. And let's not forget the external gazebo/hut overlooking the beautiful gardens and pool, it's just perfect. Some rooms even offer a view of the river or garden. the room experience was wonderful and exceeded my expectations.

Personally, I found the seating area in some rooms to be a bit small. However, this is just my opinion, and others may still find it comfortable and enjoyable.

I had a wonderful stay at a tranquil villa surrounded by beautiful rice terraces. The Joglo room was elegantly decorated with traditional carvings and had a terrace with breathtaking views. The staff provided impeccable service, serving breakfast on the terrace and ensuring the room was meticulously cleaned daily. I enjoyed exploring the surrounding area, taking walks through the rice terraces and observing locals farming. The pool area was perfect for swimming and relaxing, with a stunning garden filled with colorful flowers. I highly recommend this hidden gem for a peaceful and memorable Bali experience.

The location of the hotel was incredible. It was in the middle of a small village surrounded by rice fields, which was such a beautiful and peaceful setting. The walk to our room through the jungle was like something out of a movie. Plus, being so close to the active rice terraces was a unique experience that we loved.

The bathroom had a bit of mold, which was a problem for one of our group who is sensitive to it. We tried everything to remove it, but nothing worked, so we had to leave after a couple of hours.

The rooms at Umasari Rice Terrace Villa are such a treat! They have semi-open en-suite bathrooms with showers that make you feel like you're really experiencing Bali. And the large terraces with comfy furniture are perfect for chilling out. I loved the traditional Balinese house vibes!

Personally, I wasn't a fan of the external gazebo overlooking the gardens and pool. But hey, that's just me.

From the ritual offering making class to the traditional cooking session, we truly immersed ourselves in the Balinese culture. The staff were patient and knowledgeable, teaching us the intricacies of Balinese cooking and the importance of offering making. We also enjoyed the gambelan and dancing classes, where we learned traditional Balinese dance moves. It was a truly unique and enriching experience that added a special touch to our family vacation.

For dads, it would be great if there were more activities specifically tailored to children.

We loved the exceptional location in the middle of active rice fields, where we could enjoy a delicious breakfast while watching locals work. the property felt like a tamed jungle, well-loved and cared for by the staff. the breakfast options were great, with a choice of continental or Indonesian dishes, and the bathroom was clean with eco-friendly refillable shower gel and shampoo.

We felt very lucky to have found this hidden gem. the staff went above and beyond to assist us during our stay without any trouble.

We had an incredible stay at this hotel. The staff was amazing and went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. They were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the local culture. The room was spacious, with a beautiful semi-outdoor bathroom that had a unique rainbow effect under the shower when the sunlight hit it. The bed was large and comfortable, and we were impressed that the hotel used glass bottles instead of plastic. The hotel's location was fantastic, nestled in a valley of rice fields and next to a river. We enjoyed watching the sunset over the rice fields from the lovely riverside pool.

Nothing to complain about at all.

Spent Christmas at this villa and it was amazing! Loved the peaceful and serene environment, surrounded by lush greenery and beautiful rice fields. the private bale for each room was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the view. the swimming pool, although a short walk away, overlooked the rice fields and was worth it. the staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and the rooms were comfortable and showcased the true Balinese lifestyle with open roof bathrooms. Mineral water, tea, and coffee were provided and the room was cleaned daily.

The lack of soundproofing in the garden villa was a disappointment as we could hear our neighbors' conversations. the service was inconsistent at times, with long wait times for breakfast and missing items from the menu.
